• BOTUFLEX Cooled Semen Transporter is a low cost system developed to achieved adequate cooling curves both at 15ºC and 5ºC. Its sealing and density allow the shipped samples to reach the final destination at the appropriate temperature, even in adverse conditions of external temperatures.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

• Samples and coolant bricks should be placed inside only when the BotuFLEX transporter will be ready to be closed shut for shipment.
• Do not reopen BotuFLEX to add new samples after it has been closed shut. Do not open the BotuFLEX shipper while in transit.
• The reusable coolant bricks should be placed in the freezer (- 20ºC) for at least 24 hours prior to shipment.
• The recommended total volume per shipment is in between 150 to 200 ml and should never be exceeded. If necessary to meet the recommended total volume, use an additional sample bottle filled with frozen or cooled water to complete the package.
• For optimal temperature control use 1 coolant brick for a sustained temperature of 15*C and 2 coolant bricks for 5ºC.
• For shipments lasting 12 hours or less use 1 coolant brick. For over 12 hours, just 2 coolant bricks will be necessary.
• Use BotuSemen extenders when shipping cooled semen for best results.
