This double action round antenna base is suitable for both side mount and top mount installations. It is adjustable to cater for sloped cabin sides and decks and allows the antenna to fold down flat in all situations. It is suitable for 27Meg, VHF and AM/FM antennas. Utilising GMEs integrated PL259 connection technique, the coaxial cable remains connected to the base rather than the antenna whip, permitting installation or security removal of the whip in a matter of seconds, a splash proof cap is provided for connector protection when the whip is removed. It is supplied with colour coded named tags for each type of antenna that it may be used with which affix on the handle and match the coloured dot on the base of each antenna. A 5m coaxial lead is also supplied.
